I was a little weary from the low ratings of this place. However, I was surprised in a good way. The service was was not bad at all, and the food was good.
I ordered the combo plate with original beef and steak. Hubby ordered the tilapia and teriyaki chicken. The beef dishes reminded me of food my grandma used to cook. The fish and teriyaki chicken were a weird combo together, but individually the dishes were good. The chicken was nicely cooked and the rice was the perfect texture.
No photos of the food, because we forgot and just ate everything. Maybe, next time I'll remember. -

I came on Saturday and ordered thru the drive thru
One chicken bowl
2 egg rolls and a Pepsi
Guy was super nice
I never got the spring rolls and the bowl itself was lacking little rice
Little chicken
even if I did have the spring rolls I would still have been hungry.
Usually there's food left over
I called and told them
they told me to come back for a refund
I came back two days later (I was off for two days and don't live in the area) they said they could give me egg rolls so I waited (also I'm on my lunch break)
Got to the car, took a bite and they were frozen on the inside. Spit it out. gross
Came back in they said I'd have to wait for more to be cooked.
I don't have time for this so I asked if I could use the refund for a bowl and pay the difference.
Nope
Wait or get $$ back
20 min and I got back $1 and change are you serious?
It's lunch and I'm outta time.
I don't think I'll be back. -

I'm shocked I had an unpleasant Yoshinoya visit.
Usually one of my favorite spots and the coupons keep me coming back so I came here to use one while visiting a friend locally.
I was waiting for my order to be taken at the counter I kid you not for a good 3-5 minutes. No one else in line, a few employees awkwardly walked by me.
One of the employees passed a guest a tray and dropped their egg roll.(I'm shocked they actually replaced it but I saw the whole thing so they just casually put a new one back after dropping one)
I asked for two bowls with one being to-go and I specified which one. They did my request completely backwards and rather than help me out they just handed me a lid and left it at that -_-
The only positive was my food was okay.
The employees here don't seem to enjoy working here.
I'll stick to other locations. -

Food is fine, I mean it's Yoshinoya.
The staff here are ridiculously miserable.
Ordered my food, picked it up, asked for a token for the bathroom. Out of all 3 interactions I barley heard a mumble out of the Casher "Daisy" ... apparently some sort of manager, or even any eye contact. Very much did not want to be there, I get it but, why not make the best of it.
I always try to be friendly no matter what, because it makes my day go well.
I home the rest of her day goes well, that sort of negativity just perpetuates more negativity. -

Out of all the southern CA Yoshinoyas, this one has the best service and well prepared bowls. The portions are generous. Most importantly, the people here are pleasant, even in the late hours of the night.
